TRAIL ETIQUETTE |
1. Space your ATV for changing trail conditions. Allow more space on steep hills and higher speeds. Pay attention to the rider. |
2. Be responsible for the rider in back of you by being sure they know of any change of direction (turns or Y's in the trail). |
3. If you are unsure of your ability on any trail, stop and let a more experienced rider assist you. |
4. Comfort: bring layers of clothing for weather changes. |
5. Food: bring enough food and water for the day, (extra is good). |
6. Remember to TREAD LIGHTLY. Stay on marked trails. Pack out what you pack in. |
7.When stopping on a trail be sure to pull your ATV over so that other traffic may pass. |
8. Ask Trail Boss about general route, conditions, and ride level. A caboose ATV with radio connection on all rides with 10 or more ATVs. |
9. All riders are encouraged to wear helmets. |
10. Slower riders should ride towards the back of the group with faster riders toward the front. This allows everyone to ride at a pace they enjoy. |
At any change of direction, or challenging obstacle, the front of the group should wait for the slower riders. |
