3rd Annual ATV Sled Pull and Rodeo

Royal Gorge Arena, Fremont County Fair Grounds

9th and Hiway 115 Canon City

 

12:00pm- Registration for ALL Events

1:00pm- ATV SLED PULL, 4WD only

Classes 250CC-399CC/ 400CC-500CC/ 500HO-650CC/ 651CC-800CC

New this year Side by Side Class

Rodeo Events to immediately follow Sled Pull Events

Barrel Race-Open Class- 12 years & under, 13 years & over

Flag Race –Open Class- 12 years & under, 13 years & over

Poles-Open Class-12 years & under, 13 years & over

Musical Chairs- 12 years & under

75 Yard Up & Back-Open Class-12 years & under, 13 years & over

Awards Ceremony to follow immediately after last Event

 

Registration begins at 12 noon until 10 minutes before each event.

$10 PER EVENT 13 years & over   $5 PER EVENT 12 years & under

A Ribbon will be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Winners of each event

Please bring ATV through the east gate for entry on to the Fairgrounds

 

      Sled Pull Rules

1.There must be at least 3 people entered per class to compete

2. Contestants must remain outside the 25’ barrier until called to pull

3. Contestants may not approach sled team-if there is a mistake-go to the event manager.

4.Contestants must have standard ball to hook up no higher than 16” from ground to top of hitch   plate

5. Boxes on ATVS will be emptied

6. Contestants may not have modified clutches

7. Contestants may not have any added weights

8.  No MV 7 qualifies except in their own class

9. Judges and Event Manager decision is final

10. Helmets Required

                       

             Speed Event Rules

1.        There must be at least 3 people entered per class to compete

2.        Automatic Disqualification if you break pattern

3.        5 second penalty if you knock down a barrel

4.        Automatic disqualification if a flag falls out of bucket

5.        Must wait for signal to start your run

6.        Judges and Event Manager’s decision is final

7.        Helmets required

 

 

                            SLED PULL RULES

1.  THERE MUST BE AT LEAST 3 PEOPLE ENTERED PER CLASS TO COMPETE
2.  CONTESTANTS MUST REMAIN OUTSIDE THE 25' BARRIER UNTIL CALLED TO PULL
3.  CONTESTANTS MAY NOT APPROACH SLED TEAM - IF THERE IS A MISTAKE - GO TO THE EVENT MANAGER
4.  CONTESTANTS MUST HAVE A STANDARD BALL TO HOOK UP TO.   HITCH PLATE SHALL BE NO HIGHER THAN 16  INCHES
      ON ATVs 650 CCs OR LESS OR 17 INCHES ON ATVs OVER 650 CCs.  MEASUREMENT IS WITH RIDER ABOARD
5.  BOXES ON ATVS WILL BE EMPTIED
6.  CONTESTANTS MAY NOT HAVE MODIFIED CLUTCHES
7.  CONTESTANTS MAY NOT HAVE ANY ADDED WEIGHTS
8.  NO MV 7 QUALIFIES EXCEPT IN THEIR  OWN CLASS
9.  CONTESTANT NUMBER MUST BE DISPLAYED ON ATV
10.  JUDGES AND EVENT MANAGER HAVE THE FINAL DECISION
11.  HELMET REQUIRED
ATVS WILL BE INSPECTED PRIOR TO EVENT.
1ST PULL - SAME FOR ALL CONTESTANTS
2ND PULL - SAME FOR ALL CONTESTANTS
3RD PULL - PULL OFF FOR ANY 2 OR MORE WHO MAKE 100' PULLS OR TIE FOR DISTANCE
    
                                  SPEED EVENTS RULES

1.  MUST BE AT LEAST 3 PEOPLE PER CLASS

ATV SPEED SHOULD BE LIMITED TO  5MPH WHEN NOT IN COMPETITION. THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. SECOND NOTICES WILL RESULT IN EJECTION FROM GROUNDS.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION.
